Lara B"I believe in a life where individuals live to realize themselves despite the opinions of others. Where dreams are accomplished and the highest level of ecstasy is reached because nothing stands in the way of what you want. A life where lies aren’t needed and people are seen and understood as equals; self segregation and discrimination are a thing of the past. A life where violence isn’t thought of and helping a brother comes as second nature.
It’s the life I lead because it’s what I full-heartedly believe in. I don’t ask anyone to do the same, but don’t try to bump my mojo either."

for the fog of a breath against glass
for the cold of a stare gone unnoticed
for the empty bed and sleepless nights
occupied by challenges to the boundaries
of how much loneliness one can bear to
experience before simply slipping
away
caught in the wind, brittle brown
leaves
sometimes spinning…

This country is disgusting. Can you believe that it is a LAW that ONLY PRESCRIPTION DRUGS CAN CURE A DISEASE?!
So if someone goes to a doctor with SYMPTOMS of arthritis (ex.) and a doctor knows an organic solution, by LAW he has to give them a prescription, or he goes to jail and loses his license. How ridiculous! There are so many all natural solutions to things but noooooo, since the pharmaceutical industry is the richest industry, lets get people addicted. Is there really no hope for America? We are pathetic. At one point, we were the most prosperous and influential country. What did we do with that? We bombarded other people’s homes, told them how to live, forced them to learn our language and took it upon ourselves to judge whether or not someone was worthy of respect or not. Now people walk around with their noses up. No wonder everyone hates this country. But I suppose it makes sense. How can something good come from something stolen? We took this land from Native Americans by force, and we somehow expected the strategy to keep working. It’s one thing to look at what someone has and help them make it better. And mayhaps, that was our intention at first, but it got screwed up along the way. Money seems to get in the way of caring for another these days.. Farmers and people who produce the things we buy, eat, etc. are concerned with growing more of their products as fast as possible to get it on the market. Did you know that in order to obtain the protein/nutrients that you could’ve gotten from one orange years ago, you now have to eat FIVE? FIVE! All the chemicals being given to crops for growth and whatever else kill the nutrients and don’t let them form properly. Can’t Whole Foods just take over the world?
"..I think all the Christians should sing it. since the bible says we should all look at each other like equals and that a sin is a sin; there is no such thing as a big or little one. We’re all on this earth sinning together, trying to be better people. So let everyone try their own way. Jesus comes to everyone in some for another, some reject him, some don’t and some change their minds. Who are we to tell them what they can and can’t do? Who are we to take away free will?”.."
"People see me when I’m comfortable and they claim I’m turning into someone different or that they “don’t know where this is coming from.” And in reality, I have always been the same -they just never bothered to see beyond the first impression."

I write them or I share ones that have happened to me so that others might get a glimpse of what my life is like. Stories are like windows or doors and they lead you to places you’ve never been. I like to share, I have always loved to share. Somebody who I have just met on the park bench might…
This One’s For The Cutters.
It’s such a painful thing, to hurt.
To let the biting edge rip sad stories into your future.
It’s such an easy, simple thing to achieve.
Pain. Hurt. Tears.
Instead, why not feel joy?
To feel joy is truthfully knowing
That you are there. Alive.
Joy, this thing
That everyone searches for,
Dies for.
Happiness is never around the corner,
Like pain is.
Being happy is rare.
Don’t you think?
Why not write an optomistic ending?
Instead of ripping the pages from a book
That had so much potential.
It’s easier said than done,
I know.
However, when you accomplish
La felicidade, nothing can stop you.
She, unlike pain, is so powerful.
Once you’ve embraced her,
There is no stopping you.
Hurting is always desperate,
Hollow, depressing, addicting.
Hurting is temporary and when it is gone,
You hurt more. And more.
The sweet caress of unbroken skin,
The air of peace that
Flutters out of you like hummingbird wings
Lifts you into the clouds.
And you are free.
To feel joy is truthfully knowing
That you’re there. Alive.
